Our medical staff has over 25 years of experience conducting clinical trials for the development of new medications and vaccines for the prevention and treatment of oral herpes labialis (cold sores), genital herpes, genital warts (HPV), and other STDs. Although our primary expertise revolves around sexually transmitted infections, we have participated in clinical trials from a variety of fields, including treatments for opioid-induced constipation/bowel dysfunction, heartburn, dyspepsia, influenza, sinusitis and depression as well as sexual dysfunction, premenstrual dsyphoric disorder and contraception.
We have new medicines, new diagnostic tests and new medical procedures due to research that has shown them to be effective (or not). All of this happened because some people agreed to participate in clinical research studies. For all of our years in practice, we have conducted research trials. Our clinicians and staff are all very familiar with research. We know how to protect our subjects and make sure the data that comes out of the clinic are top notch.
