Hello. I’m sorry I’ve asked a couple rounds of questions previously. I’m still at my wits end. It’s been about 6 weeks now since I’ve been having issues. No answer, and it’s still there. Last photo you said it looked fungal. Which was relieving. But upon continuance of symptoms and reading. Looks like sometimes it can be herpes but not as recognizable. One dr said was jock itch (often mistaken or so I’ve read). urologist did the camera in me and that was it. Dermatologist was kinda worthless. Gave me a stupid cream didn’t ask question or care much. Tip still feels weird can you please look at these pics form today? I’m begging everyone and anyone for help.
Have you consistently used antifungal medicine to treat the rash that the doc said was jock itch? It should be used twice daily for at least two weeks, in my experience. I also don’t think that a fungal infection looks anything like herpes in the male groin.
The forum no longer allows pictures to be posted.

Yes I used the cream as directed. Too bad about the pics. Had some oddness on the tip and foreskin. Which os now almost worse than before. In some pics small bumps show up around the foreskin area. I used the monistat type cream for a couple weeks to no avail. And have been using the steroid type cream for a couple weeks now also with out any real improvement. It’s irritating to urinate. Guess I’ll have to go back to the clinic. The worthless dermatologist and urologist have not gotten back to me about a follow up. Thanks again and sorry. I’m at a loss
I’m so sorry you are still have difficulties. There are some sites on the internet where dermatologists will look at pictures and give you an opinion. I’m not sure what they are exactly but I know they are there. For me, having pictures was just too close to practicing medicine over the internet and that is something I don’t want to do nor can I do. I can comment about standard practice and lab work and things like that, make suggestions about when to see a provider, but nothing takes the place of an experienced clinician looking at something in person. But you might want to look for that dermatologist website to see if perhaps they can help you.
Best,
Terri
