Do you know anything from the following?
Vitagerpavak ( the Russian vaccine) and its effectiveness?
2LHERP (produced in Belgium) it’s effects?
And do you personally know Omeprazole with acyclovir or valcyclovir Effects on a person rather than on a culture plate?
Lastly, I saw in your handbook you mentioned that there is no supplements that may effect viral frequency… do you know anything about glutamine? And why was 1 trial cancelled?
Sorry for all the foreign medications

I am unaware of the progress of the two trials you mention. And I don’t know personally about side effects of omeprazole with herpes medications, no. I am not aware of any supplements that have demonstrated efficacy for herpes in good clinical trials. I know people say anecdotally that something might be helpful but until there are trials I can’t recommend anything, sorry

Can you tell me a little more about the type of immune response that is utilized to suppress the HSV outbreaks? For example:
CD8aa T cells
CD4 T cells
HSV 1/2 Igg
HSV 1/2 Igm
I understand that the thymus gland, spleen, and long bone white blood cells production is paramount to the immune system.
Read a bit on SADBE (squaric acid), and it’s immune sensitizing effects that aids not only alopecia and warts but utilized through clinical trials with HSV 1 and in theory 2.
I’m assuming there is other topical treatments or remedies that can cause that immuno response. Possibly poison ivy, diphenylcyclopropenone (DPCP), and 1-chloro-2,4-dinitrobenzene (DNCB) can stimulate a response.

I’m a clinician, not a basic science person. I’m not going to go into a long response about the immune response to herpes in this forum, sorry, but I think you will find this link helpful.
And you are asking about chemical compounds I’m not familiar with, sorry.

I’m contacting you because I’m freaking about my gf. She has HSV1 from childhood and contracted HSV2 from me back in November. Just 2 months ago she’s been having a lot of on and off headaches and just recently started complaining about her memory a little bit and that she felt off. I know encephalitis is very rare but I feel like based off her complaining about her memory that we are heading towards that route.
however, she does not take acyclovir suppressive therapy. But she does get a lot of relief after taking acetaminophen with caffeine.
does encephalitis symptoms remain constant and consistent or can come and go like outbreaks?

This sounds nothing like herpes encephalitis to me. That is a very serious medical condition and is not characterized by slight memory loss and a few headaches. It is far more dramatic and profound. You’ve found the worst possible complication of herpes and are worried this is her. It isn’t, but if she is concerned about these symptoms, then she should see her own clinician. I can see you are worried about her, but I think you are not on the right path here.

What are the sign and symptoms of herpes encephalitis? What is it’s common presentation? Is an MRI the best to find out ? My gf’s MRI was negative and she spoke with a neurologist and he thinks it’s post viral headaches

If she has had a negative MRI, then that rules out encephalitis, I believe. People with new herpes can get aseptic meningitis, which is a very different animal entirely and virtually always resolves without issues.
