Last exposure 6-26-15 hsv?
Rode in bad seat in a truck for about a month and had a biopsy on base of penis before symptoms kicked in 2nd week Aug. Biopsy was mole right side top base. I noticed a tingle(only while sitting) right in the crack of my inner left thigh(red linesinthigh)(always same spot fell off ladder on butt 5yr ago)stops if I move. Also severe pain in low back, butt, back^leg+heel, all left leg, pain shot thru penis intermittently. Been hunting and had chigger+ant bites all over legs 2 eraser sized red bumps on side of penis sqeezed them clear fluid came out no pain they were gone within 2 days penis skin remained irritated after(Could have been due 2 dry humping). Pain went away when I wasn’t driving truck. Went to Dr 10-2-15(14 weekPostExposure) had IGG+other tests results – on everything except high cholesterol
IGG Hsv 1 – .18
IGG Hsv 2 – >.10
Igm(BS) – 1.2
Freaked a bit prereading about IGM
Tingle comes and goes even in good seats. No more red bumps. Got a hand job with eucerin cream for eczema (eczema unknown just trying the cream no shower after) on 10-31-15 (tingled the whole weekend) on 11-1-15 had a rash break out on underside of penis shaft at the base all the way to the tip worst part was about center clear vesicles with a red base scratched them to bust them did not hurt even a little. Next day all were scabbed and skin falling off through the week the skin flaked off the whole underside of penis total heal within a week on 11-4-15(19 week PE) I was retested
IGG Hsv 1 – .17
IGG hsv 2 – >.10
Igm – 1.01 equiv
Had the tingle 11-6-15 while getting – results. Since the rash cleared I have had at least 3 more occasions with tingle. Dr says its sciatica since first visit in Oct. My fear is that every time I tingle my left testicle gets dryskin not flaking just dry and irritated. Symptoms range from tingle, pinching on penis+balls, hemroids, dry left testicle. I might get 3 days without these things occurring. Dr wants MRI can I rule out HSV? -

I think you might be entering your HSV 2 result incorrectly could you double check the direction of the arrow?

Yes sorry that is supposed to be less than .10 on both test for HSV 2. Also last encounter tested neg on igg at 19 weeks PE. Only other exposure was 5 weeks prior so first test would be 19 weeks and 2nd test would be 24 weeks PE.No way to contact that exposure. The rash on 11-1-15 looked like sweat glands that had clogged Dr saw pics and said it didn’t look like HSV.No fever, flu, or lymph nodes. Symptoms tend to jump around. Made worse with creams. Had a pinch feeling on tip of penis inspected and had dry skin. Symptons may have been made worse by creams. Just some more info that might be useful. No antiviral meds taken also. Thanks ahead for any info as to what this could be if not HSV. Does this post count as a question?

This was your second question – you get a total of three.
Your test results are soundly negative for HSV 2 – also this does not sound like herpes to me. I believe, based on the test results that you have posted, that you are negative for HSV 2.Terri

Just got results from a test I took in 2005. They ran a HSV 1/2 combined Ab, igg and that value was 3.93(a) the IGM was 1.0 and the Elisa Hsv2 igg was .32 question is I guess, how accurate is that test from 10 years ago and what do you make of me testing negative with low values to type 1 specific testing now? I know type 1 can be missed but which test is more reliable the old combined or the new type specific?

You know, it is possible that you have HSV 1 and the testing missed it. I have no reason to disbelieve the testing you had done in 2005. But the combined test can be falsely positive – I have seen that many many times, compared to western blot anyway. I would say if you really want to know if you have HSV 1, you’ll have to do the western blot as the IgG type specific misses 25% of HSV 1 infection. On one hand, the blisters on your penis worry me but on the other, everything else sounds fungal to me. I’m afraid I can’t be of more help with this.
