Hello
4 days ago, I met someone while traveling and we had protected oral sex and an unprotected handjob. I have been anxious since then and don’t know what to do. My foreskin has been a bit irritated, I had slight weakness 2 days after, no bumps or burning urination. I took a 10 panel test yesterday and it came up negative. Should I be worried? I check non stop and just worry even more.
Also, I wanted to ask, many people have described symptoms to you, but what are the usual or common symptoms after infection?
And how long does it take to feel them?
After now much time with no symptoms should you not worry? Or should you?
I’m sure you’ve answered that, but there are so many questions! Thank you.
Condom protected oral sex does not present a risk for transmission if the condom covered the whole penis during the experience.
Symptoms of herpes would be sores in the genital area and they would normally appear between 2-10 days after infection. If you’ve had no symptoms in 10 days, and given the condom use, infection seems very unlikely to me.

Thank you for the reply.
I had strep throat about 2 weeks ago and took all the antibiotics. My throat still feels strange and tested negative for strep a and b. I notice I have some bumps in my throat that are white and my throat is a bit red. My throat does not hurt and I don’t have a fever. I have bad low back pain right now also. My chest also feels a bit strange. Now I am worried about herpes in my throat. The only thing I did with my mouth was on her breasts. Can herpes be passed though breathing someone breath?
No, herpes is not spread by breathing or by having your mouth on her breasts. None of this is a risk for herpes.
