Good morning having some symptoms burning and an itch no sores though seems like its never ending always have some type of sensation is this an outbreak . Also my butt cheeks itch does this mean I’m shedding? I’m going to go get swabbed my symptoms just seem constant with no relief . I don’t know what else it could be was diagnosed with bv a year ago but I’m thinking it was an outbreak not bv . .
I really want to take a bath haven’t since I was diagnosed I feel like the virus would just be getting all over my body as I sat in the tub . Is it safe to take a bath even if u are having a outbreak at the time ? I don’t want herpes all over my body . Also do u recommend anything to soak in to sooth an outbreak ?
Is there any specific soap I should be using down there . Like summers eve . I know your not supposed to use certain ones . Any suggestions would be helpful thank u so much and happy holidays -
BV and herpes are not confused with each other, or at least I can’t think how they would be confused with each other.
It is fine to take a bath – it will not cause the virus to get all over you!
I am not aware of any soap that you should not use – anything is just fine.Terri
