Hey Terri, thanks for all your help here.
Does herpes spread through semen? Or is it just skin to skin.
If I have HSV2 – how much of a risk is it for my partner to perform oral sex on me (given I’m not having any outbreaks)?

Herpes can be spread through semen but that is not a common event. There is far more risk from the skin of the penis through asymptomatic viral shedding than through ejaculate, in someone with HSV 2.
