I received oral from my wife who appears to have a fever blister at top of her lip. However, it was very short 20-30 seconds. I also have had hsv-1 for years. What are the odds of me contesting it genitally now. I’m very concerned to say the least. But I’m confident I might be just fine. Many have said to reach out to you concerning this issue.
I think you are likely just fine. Once you have HSV 1 in one location, oral, it is extremely unlikely that you would then acquire it genitally.
