Hi Terri,
As per your suggestion, I have taken WB on April 11 and the result came indeterminate. But I will retest in another month.
Meanwhile, I have developed a small reddish dot on the meatus (front hole of the shaft) 3 days back. It started with no pain and progressed to mild pain and burning while peeing. I used to feel the mild burn just sitting idly or doing my activities. I was concerned and applied Clotrimazole (antifungal) for the last 3 days. As it was the weekend, I didn’t see a doctor but wanted to see if Clotrimazole works and right now the redness and burn have reduced a lot.
Does Herpes cause this condition or could it be something else? Am I allowed to share a picture for you to examine and how can I do that?
Please help, thank you in advance.
Sorry we don’t do pictures here but if I ordered the blot for you, you could send it to my email and I’ll look at it.
I seriously doubt that this is related to HSV.
In all the years of doing the blot ordering, I’ve only had one person go from indeterminate to positive on the follow up test.
Terri
