Hi,
I am very worried about my 3yr old getting herpes. This weekend he was kissed on the cheek by a person with a cold sore. The cold sore looked dry but not healed. What are the chance he could of been infected? -
I would say the chances are very low indeed. The skin of the cheek is nice and thick and normally not vulnerable to the herpes infections. If you told me the kiss was on the mouth, I might be a little worried, since there was a cold sore but not the cheek. Whew!
