Concern or Coincidence?

F 51 GHSV1 swab dx in August w Primary.
Started FIRST relationship in Oct since my august dx M50 OHSV1, said clean otherwise.

*Nov 25th Started 500mg Valtrex suppression
*Dec 6 – Job eliminated. Worked in exec mngmt. Sole support of teen boys as I am navigating a divorce too.
Major stress & holiday stress kicks in along w a full plate of chores for christmas as I hosted plus major anxiety about first time sex/disclosure since dx
*Dec 15 – sex 1 & ONLY time w condom that lasted maybe 3-4 min & other than sex, made sure my genitals didn’t go near his otherwise out of fear. Sex was awful, I know it was my fear of being contagious, despite the near impossibility of it with us both having HSV1, meds & condom
*Dec 21 relationship ends
*Dec 25 I stop supp meds
*Dec 21 thru current – stress x 10000… filled w panic attacks, crying, depression over job loss, financial stress, dx that became very real having to disclose & shame sadness & embarrassment I feeling, the terrible sex & relationship not working & my long term fears of just….everything…of being alone forever & never being able to enjoy sex again

*1.2 I have headache, feel tired/yucky and notice genital pain & find a sore in same spot where primary G1 outbreak was and maybe a sore on rear end same side as vag sore

*1.5 taking 1000mg for outbreak for 4 days & feeling like I am getting better, OB not too bad physically

Am very anxious in genera & now in panic that I contracted HSV2 & this primary outbreak vs reoccuramce of HSV1 due to insane stress. The yucky feeling & sore showed up 18 days after sex & about 9 Days after stopping 500mg suppression.
Questions:

*was this encounter a high risk of passing HSV2 if he had it?
*does this sound like a primary hsv2 outbreak for someone w existing GHSV1 and the supress meds just held it off/tamed it?
*would a sore show up same spot as original primary for new primary?
*can repeat OB of G1 cause headaches & tiredness?

No, it was not. A single protected encounter that lasted a very short time and you have HSV 1? Very close to zero risk. Don’t go there

No, it does not. Condoms reduce transmission from men to women of HSV 2 by 96%. This just isn’t likely at all.

I don’t know the answer to that but I don’t think this was a primary, if anything, I suspect a recurrence of your genital HSV 1
