So I am hoping you might be able to give me a insight on a problem I am recently having. Recently on vacation (incident occurred on early morning April 30 2018) I had un protected oral with a man of unknown status in Cyprus. I was the one who performed oral on him for about roughly 2-4 minutes (not that time would really matter.) I did get a slight sore throat maybe a day after. From there on out I was pretty content and was continuing on with life. On May 14 I was laying down on my right side about to go to sleep, and I felt what felt like zapping of the nerves in my spine, that transferred to my left arm and throughout my left leg.A day prior I was recovering from a bad hangover (just trying to add as much detail as I remember.) Curious I did the infamous search on google and lone behold, I stumbled across herpes and it being associated with peripheral neuropathy. It did cross my mind shortly after I performed oral but it is not something I soley focused on so I know this random sharp pain of my spine wasn’t anxiety related. Instantly I did start to freak out after reading herpes being related to it and went into full blown panic mode which might have intensified my sensations. The day after I went to the clinic and got a full std panel test and tested positive for my IGM (1.3, not a accurate test) and negative for both types (<0.91) but it might have been to early *17 days post possible exposure.* It has now been 50 days and I still have numbness in my left arm, blurred vision (has gotten better) stiff neck, shoulder pain and a sometimes burning feeling in my spine. I have done nothing but stress (usually I am not a stressed person but this has brought it out lol!), look up daily about herpes, check myself, and still have yet to have a actual blister or sore. Even a doctor looked at me and didn’t see anything. Is this herpes or something else? I found the boy on FB and said he got checked recently and was clean but I know not to fully trust peoples word lol.

To add on, I have also had burning feelings in my hand with a quick couple of spread out pimple bumps, but would disappear in less than a couple of hours. I also have pimple like bumps on both arms ( I do have body acne) that are spread out but they don’t hurt and it might just be from stress that I am putting my body under. I also feel constant pressure on my head, like something is weighing down on it and that something is feeling heavy on my shoulders. To also note, sometimes I can feel my thyroid ( like a big lump is in my throat or is going down it?) it doesn’t happen often. Followed with the other symptoms, I do get quick and sudden chest pains on my left side that quickly goes away. I went to the ER and everything checked out fine but I did noice from my std test that I had a 1 WBC out of a range of (0-5.) Should I be alarmed by that?

Update: I went to visit my mom 7 days ago for a funderal of our family member, I gave her a peck from the side of my mouth to the side of hers, and now she said today she has blisters 🙁 they are spread a part a little bit start from the corner of her mouth and go a bit down her left side face. Could I have passed this to her? I still have my ongoing symptoms and no outbreak? To mention, my immune system is low so I should have saw something by now correct? To note, she has had a history of cold sores before but not for over 10 years.

1 wBC is nothing to be worried about no. None of your symptoms sound herpetic to me at all. Herpes generally does not cause symptoms all over your body either – only in the areas of infection, either face/mouth/nose or genital/anus.
And no, I don’t believe you gave your mom facial herpes with a peck on the side of her lip. I strongly suspect that she is having a recurrence of her cold sore, even though it has been a while since she had one.
