Hi Terri,
First of all thank you for having this forum. I am extremely worried I may have caught herpes
I stupidly had sex with an escort 4 weeks ago (something I regret incredibly.)
Anyways, my encounter was fully protected including oral and vaginal sex (no kissing). Vaginal sex was also incredibly quick although that may not reduce my risk.
For the first week I was convinced I caught something and thought I felt a burning sensation on my left scrotum. I kept checking, expecting to see sores but nothing except for maybe a slight pinkness but I have a history of dry skin. After another week, I convinced I was OK and I didn’t notice anything for 2 weeks or so. Now this week I’ve spotted the same pinky area and got scared again. I also noticed an inflamed hair follicle which I plucked and found a few growing out the same one.
I have taken a picture of this and wonder first of all if you can see anything that resembles herpes? The bottom circle has a red spot with a bald patch and raised white area but I feel that’s just my follicle. The top circle (where the rash is) when zoomed in with my camera shows a red flakey edge, eczema?
I also had a look at my anus and noticed this purple thing (which I think is a hemmoroid as I have them) but more worryingly I noticed this white circle with a red dot. It doesn’t ooze, hurt or itch (maybe feels itchy if I clench/wipe/touch it . It’s located on a fold of skin but is this herpes or a fissure of some sort?
I have only been in one relationship and I have never had cold sores (so no hsv 1) nor had she. She once had an oozey lip but we think that was a spot/infection as she’s never had anything before.
Should I get an igG test even at 4 weeks?
Ty
We do not allow pictures on the site and so I am going to remove them however, I did view them and they look nothing like herpes. It does look like you have a hemorrhoid at the anus.
Terri
