Hello Ms.Terri! I recently found out I have diabetes and know that it effects the immune system! I haven’t had an OB or have tested positive on a IGG yet and my last test was at 19 Weeks with a result is .10
Is it possible that my diabetes has prevented me from making antibodies?
I do have other symptoms such as penile nerve pain, nerve pain in the buttocks, nerve pain in my legs & some paresthesia in my arms and face. I had balanitis for 2 months also.
I know that some of these symptoms could be from the diabetes itself but I started having them right after my potential exposure.
What are your thoughts on this?
No, your diabetes would not prevent you from making herpes antibody, not at all.
Terri
