ELISA method: HSV-2 IgG 0.97 July 17,2017
First result negative, then positive, then last one negative.
I had unprotected sex on May 10, 2017 and started having symptoms of flu like fever, headaches, body ache and itchiness on buttocks, few blisters by May 21, 2017
Do I really have herpes?
I’m very confused by my last result which was
Negative after been positive.
Please help! -

No wonder you are confused,so am I! These results are all over the board. Did the same lab do all three tests? You most assuredly need a herpes western blot – badly – to get clarification. The blisters are obviously concerning. Are you taking antiviral medication? If so, how much and for how long?

First of all thanks so much Terri for your time to reply this 😊
To answer your questions and to clarify other things: First two tests yes, same Lab, it was from Bioreference Lab using the Chemiluminescence method and the last test was a different Lab using the E.L.I.S.A. method.
I was diagnosed positive by June 1, 2017 with 5.80 with Chemiluminescence method then by July 17, 2017 it was 0.97 with the E.L.I.S.A. method from a different Lab.I had my last unprotected sex May 10, 2017 and after been diagnosed positive by June 1, 2017 I started by June 6, 2017 taking daily antivirals (valacyclovir 500mg) for 1 month then I stopped and then took them again just during the 3 outbreaks I have had so far since diagnosed (2 last year and 1 this January) triggered by the periods of those months, only 1 blister each in same spot.
To add more info, my first symptoms in my first outbreak ever last year after my last unprotected sex last year was as follow:
May 9th, 2017 had my pap-smear test and Brazilian wax done earlier, and felt the lady that performed the waxing pulled some tiny pieces of skin and felt kinda burned, not from the wax but from the pulling skin.
May 10, 2017 had unprotected sex and bled some from Pap smear done a day before and from the friction i had from the day I had sex.
May 16, 2017 felt like a cut in the perineum area, a whitish wound when I squeeze it bled and oooze watery stuff and just hurt when I pee.
May 19, 2017 started my period and I was very constipated.
May 21, 2017 had major headaches and 99.9 fever (while having period).
Chills , body ache, headaches and fever that lasted 2 days.May 23, 2017 I had lower right side pain, no pelvic pain, was more in the lower right side area next to tummy, which I thought I was having appendicitis then went to c my family dr and she discarded that and just gave me something for constipation.
May 26, 2017 found 3 blisters close to clitoris and also swollen groin lymph nodes in each side that were

causing pain in my legs, it felt like after doing a hard workout and my back hurt like when having a bad period.
May 30, 2017 Four days later wounds found in vagina were healed, but started feeling itchy down there, at the same time I could see watery shiny stuff coming out of my vagina, then pain and itchiness in my left buttock and behind my top leg is constant and didn’t let me get some sleep, it was horrible.
June 3rd, 2017 found blood in Urine, period is over but still after my period having this brown discharge smelling like feces.
June 5, 2017 found blood in butt while wiping and was itchy.
I ended up going to my Obgyn after all that and after showing her a picture of the 3 blisters I found close to clitoris she suggested the herpes test.
June 7, 2017 started daily dose of valacyclovir and dr found I was having a urine infection also so I started taking antibiotics for that.
I will totally want to do the western blot test with you, as a Dr. can you send the order to a lab close to me? How easy is to get one? I’m willing to do anything to make this test done with you, thanks. I can’t wait to hear what you think about all the information I just sent you. And again can’t wait to do this western blot test done with you to clarify any doubt. Thanks again.

I can understand that you want clarification.
I can help you get the test – you need to sign up for a video conference with me on the home page of this website – westoverheights.com. On the home page, you will see a big box that says video consults. Click on that and it will take you to the evisit website where you an sign up for a time with me. While you are waiting for this appointment, you can order the kit from the University of Washington, 206-685-6066. You can also see if there is an anylabtestnow in your area – they are willing to draw these samples for us. The cost is $314 for the consult and actual test and I will charge your credit card at the time that you talk with me. You will also incur charges for having you blood drawn and shipping the sample – I don’t know exactly how much that it.
