Hello Terri,
Last time we talked I mentioned to you about how I started having symptoms after having one time protective vaginal intercouse.
First I had this painless skin rash, that consisted of the penile head gland and foreskin peeling. That shortly went away after applying antibiotic ointment.
A few weeks went by when I started having intense pain in my penis. That intense pain lasted 4 weeks.
Now 15 weeks later I’m still having a burning itching sensation in my penis. I also have a pain that starts at the bottom of my shaft that then shift over to the bottom of my testicles.
My question is would prodrome symptoms last weeks/be consisted daily without causing an outbreak?
Would hsv2 cause scars on the whole penile head gland? My whole penile head gland is still cracked but it’s under the skin. The skin on my foreskin completely healed. Although I do have this brown/dark spots that were left after the skin peeling healed.
Also would hsv2 cause a burning sensation of the penile head gland after ejaculation? I’m also having that.
I know you said that my symptoms don’t seem anything like herpes. But I don’t know what it could possibly be? besides herpes.
I have tested twice for hsv2 and have come out negative.
This experience have cause my mental health to decline since I’m having daily symptoms. I feel completely lost and my anxiety levels are super high. Every hour I’m checking myself to see if I have a blister or a lesion in my genital area.
Herpes does not cause daily symptoms, and it specifically does not cause the symptoms that you are describing here. Would you like to do a western blot to see if you actually have herpes or not?
Terri
Hello Terri,
Thank you for replying. I’m interested in getting the western blot.
So you can work with your own health care provider to get the blot or I can help you. either way, you need to get the kit from the University of Washington. 206-685-6066.
