In all of your experience have you ever known someone to catch HSV-2 through dry humping. It may sound strange but I have multiple sex partners and to “play it safe” I only want to grind with both of us keeping our underwear on. I know there is a theoretical possibility but I always wear boxers that at least go down to my mid thigh. I just wanted your opinion on how risky this was if a female partner has herpes and she is grinding on top of me in my underwear. Thank you for your opinion.
Also, along the same lines of being as safe as possible, if I touch an HSV-2 positive woman on the butt and inner thighs (no direct contact with vagina or anus) and have a cut on my hand, could that transmit hsv2 to me? Also if it does and I catch it on my hand could it also cause a genital breakout. Trying to be as safe as possible. Thank you.
there is no risk of getting HSV 2 from grinding with clothes on, no.
Touching a buttocks or thigh of an HSV 2 positive woman is not a risk for acquiring HSV 2.
Both of those things are risk free.
