Good evening Terri. Hope all is well.
So I recently took a WB and got the results back on 4/12 (Roughly 8 weeks after last sexual activity) They came back negative. My last sexual encounter (currently in a long term relationship for going on 1.5 years) was on 2/12-2/13, but that encounter was more oral than vaginal. I had taken an STD panel (first time taking one) as part of an annual checkup. HSV 1 came back negative and HSV 2 came back as a low positive 1.84. This is what prompted me to research and take the above mentioned WB test. Do I need to get retested or is 8 weeks conclusive enough?
I think I answered this on another post. If your partner tests negative, you don’t need any further testing.
Terri
