Thanks so much, Terry. This is true even though I had an outbreak?
2nd question – is the virus carried in vaginal fluids? I’ve always wondered about this (but been embarrassed to ask) because sometimes I squirt when I come. Or can a person only catch it from contact with an actual herpes sore?
Thank you
I’m not sure what preceded this since you’ve started an entirely new post.
I believe that virus can be carried in vaginal secretions because they pass over tissue that may be shedding virus but in small amounts of fluid, I doubt that is much of a risk if at all. There does not need to be a sore present to transmit virus, as virus can be shed from tissue that looks normal.
