Hi Terri,
I am a bit worried here. This past Sunday I had a sexual encounter with a promiscuous young lady at her home who is a stripper on the side. We had started off with a handjob which unfortunately led to naked frotting, genital to genital rubbing for about 4-5 minutes or so. Reasonable rubbing. Afterwards I began to finger her while she finished the handjob. The next day, I begin to feel itching around my genital and pubic area. This kind of itching has lasted since the encounter. Bottom of shaft and scrotum. Felt anus today a tad but that went away right away. I have also had itching all over my whole body so I am wondering if this my anxiety causing me to feel this way and I am unsure. I don’t see any signs or bumps and feel ok otherwise. I noticed very tiny bumps on shaft but I think those may have been there prior but they don’t look to herpes related or red or fluid filled unless I am missing something here. Almost unnoticeable. Am I at a high risk to contract Herpes here? I am married and would be devastated to lose my wife in this way. I will wait to have unprotected sex with her until I tested hopefully around the 4-6 week area. I am not sure what I was thinking that day. Alcohol was involved but I learned my lesson. Thank you for your assistance.
Well risk carries the genital-genital rubbing and while that risk free, it is low risk. Your symptoms are not consistent with herpes. If I were in your situation, I would probably ask the person that you had the encounter with to get a herpes antibody test and pay for it. The tiny bumps on your penis that you described are probably completely normal but you’ve also probably never looked this closely before.
I think the risk of you acquiring herpes in the situation is just incredibly low but not zero.
Terri
