Hello, im 33 year gay old male, and have not been very sexually active the past 2 year or so until Jan 4. In this encounter with a man we did some genital to genital rubbing, and he gave me oral for maybe about 45 seconds to 1:15 seconds. I was sober and the vibe was off so decided to shut it down and leave. about 3 days after I noticed that my penis was very sensitive and bothered me when I walked and it would tingle and burn when it brush up against my underware. on January 8th I noticed a
single sensitive spot right along my circumcision line. The spot appears to be apart of my natural male anatomy and has remained largely unchanged since I noticed it on January 8. if I stretch’s the skin, there are no breaks in the skin and the spot cannot be seen, and the capillaries beneath become more visible. The only thing that really made me concerned is this small spot first was very sensitive and painful . If I were to to touch the area it would create a stinging pain. I believe the the area was almost healed by the 12 of January but I was checking the area to see if there was anything new and may have re injured the skin., as for the next day the pain was fully back. fast forward to now the spot is mostly healed (as in only faintly hurts when I touch it, but is not bothering me much day to day as I walk around. The appearance has remained largely unchanged except now less irritated and less inflamed. there were never any blisters or open sores and the little spot the hurt was hardly even red, but very sensitive to touch and enough to concern me enough to end up on this forum. I was tested for herpes via IGG in 2014 and negative for both. >> your page has been helpful and i have developed a testing plan as follows. I will get tested at 6 weeks Feb-15, and at 12 weeks( march 29). My questions is as follows. does this sound like a hsv infection to you? secondly, since I haven’t been tested in a while do you think this is a good testing plan? -

Update: went to my general practitioner. During visual inspection she said she didn’t see anything concerning. She offered to do a swab so I agreed. I actually had to help her find the area to swab. I will update when the results come in

Sounds like a plan. the herpes that you would get from oral sex is HSV 1, the cold sore virus. I seriously doubt that the experience that you had resulted in a genital HSV infection, but if it did, it would almost certainly be HSV 1. But again, these symptoms are not concerning to me.
