      I have super OCD when it comes to anything hsv related. I have a scanned over almost gone cold sore on my bottom lip. I washed my hands and went to change my daughters bottom. In the middle of it I scratched my nose, but did not touch the cold sore. Could I transfer the virus by touching my nose that was close by the cold sore but not touching the actual sore? I’ve been a hot mess over this. Thanks for your help.

      No, this is NOT a method of transmission to your baby.

      Thank you so much. I am so anxious about spreading it. If I have a cold sore and talk to her on accident while changing her diaper I’m worried it will spread through the air. Can this happen?
