At my last herpes blood test, I was negative for type I and II, and no known symptoms or infections otherwise. No sex since last blood test. I have on my shoulder, looks like the herpes bumps I’ve seen online. Cluster of bumps on red base, but do not appear fluid-filled, no pain, no itching. I applied a 5% alpha hydroxy acid toner to it, and it kind of dried it up. It is right on bra line and my bras are usually very tight in this area and rub so I initially thought just some acne, however, they looked like skin colored clear clustered bumps at first. Again, I don’t think they were fluid filled. I did have someone suck on my nipple few weeks ago, and no bumps appeared from that, just wondering if this could be herpes?
I should mention, I have keratosis pilaris and it makes my skin look bumpy anyway, so maybe that is why they appeared more like clustered bumps. It’s about a two inch linear line of bumps that are now kind of dried red dots d/t the toner I used. I’ve applied hydrocortisone and neosporin as well. I asked a dermatologist online and he initially said it looked like shingles, but because no pain, he thought it was just friction from bra, he doesn’t seem to think herpes. I just noticed them today, however this week I have been wearing a tighter fit bra, and the last two days a tighter sports bra.
If you have concerns that this could be herpes, you should have a professional look at these bumps. It’s very difficult to tell from a post on the internet, but if they are not fluid filled, I think herpes is really pretty unlikely here. It’s also unlikely since they are not painful in any way.
