Okay, so I’m a 28 yo male & basically I went to an Asian erotic massage parlor, she massaged me then started giving me hand job and then asked if I wanted more and regrettably I agreed and she got a condom, proceeded to give me oral for about 15 seconds then I was getting into it and got her to agree to sex.. still with the same condom and I got on top and tried to have sex but lost my hard on (not really even sure if I penetrated) as it was kinda dark but I basically wasn’t hard and was probably in contact with her for about 15-25 seconds, no real penetration that I believe as I lost my hard on very quickly (thankful for that). Anyways we basically stoped after 15-25 seconds of trying and then she just gave me a hand job until I came. I was instantly filled with shame and regret when I left as I have a girlfriend of 6 years and just felt terrible about it. I was fine physically the next day other than feeling awful about the incident, until about 24-30 hours after the incident I developed a rash on the inside of my groin. Not very big, nothing crazy but it smells a little and just nervous it could be something more. Now before I went to the massage parlor I worked a long day in and out of the Florida Sun where I was definitely sweating quite a bit. So my question is do you think this could be herpes related or am I just over thinking this rash? No real symptoms other than a little itch and burning from the rash. Im definitely a hypochondriac and have anxiety as well, which doesn’t help. Hoping my mind can be out at ease and hope I’m okay considering I regret the entire thing and just want to be a better man for me and my girlfriend. Thanks for your time!

I seriously doubt this has anything to do with herpes. You received oral sex with a condom – good job with that – and had extremely minimal contact between your penis and her genitals, if any. With the sun and heat, this may well have been a mild fungal infection in the groin. If you are still concerned, you could try treating it with an over the counter antifungal medicine or see a provider in person for a better evaluation. but I seriously doubt herpes as a cause of the rash.

No, if your exposure was only genital, symptoms on your mouth would be unrelated.
