How do I know I have a new infection, I been having hsv1 and hsv2 for a like 20 years I never felt any outbreaks I recently got a new partner and then I stared to feel like I been having an outbreak but how do I know its an outbreak or a reinfection today I felt my eyes blurry watery I went to do my vision test for dmv didn’t pass because at time I felt my vision blurry and watery eyes

Once you have HSV one and /or HSV two, you don’t get reinfected. That’s not how this works. If you had herpes in your eyes, an eye doctor could sort that out right away. If you have that concern, I would encourage you to see someone who specializes in vision
