Herpes tests 22 years ago all started testing

I have been married 22 years and faithful.We were tested 22 years ago for all std hiv herpes the works before giving up condoms.Husband has been a- sexual fit 15 plus years no sex w me.He works away from home alot.We had tye talk abt how to begin again after all these years of me feeling awful and not trusting his infidelity.He was just tested and his results state herpes. IT WAS A BLOOD TEST AT LOCAL LAB IN tri cities wa.His results are a 2.0 for hsv2.He has often fever blister in lower lip and says it must have traveled or is making tests positive.Swears hes never had a flare of herpes in pelvis area though once he came home w awful scaly peeling pens dry flaky skin.Im not an idiot and have zero trust at this point.Where can he have the western blot test done locally and can you request labs for him.Thanks

There is a very good chance that he has a false positive here.
