Herpes Transmission from Sex Worker

Hi,

I had a very out of character encounter at my bachelor party, I got drunk and received Protected oral sex from an escort. During this period I also touched the woman’s vagina and later that evening (maybe an hour later) I masturbated. I’m very worreied about what I might have caught from this. What would be the risk of me contracting herpes through these interaction? Would herpes live on the skin of my hand long enough to infect myself? Would protected oral likely transmit herpes?

I am extremely distressed and constantly worrying that I will shortly develop symptoms.

there is just no risk here for you to contract genital herpes – none. Good for using a condom with ora sex, that removes that worry. And herpes is not transmitted through hands in the way that you describe the incident.
