Is there any way that either HSV 1 or 2 is transmitted by someone being wet after swimming and dripping on the ground, and someone else stepping in that water, if the first person had an active outbreak and the water had run over it before falling onto the ground. If yes, how long would the virus live in the water.
Most of what I read says no, but some articles seem to be a bit unclear. Just want to make sure that there is no possible way to transmit casually this way.
