Hi Terri – over two weeks ago, I had protected oral sex and received an unprotected handjob from a sex worker. I ensured through oral sex that her mouth didn’t touch outside of the condom and she had no visible outbreak on her mouth. My main concern is that she touched her vagina briefly (not direct, on top of her underwear but couldn’t tell if she had an outbreak) and then may have touch my penis directly during the handjob. No vaginal sex occurred during this interaction. While I have no visible signs of an outbreak, when I urinate I noticed a slight burn during and after (maybe 1/10 from a pain scale).
Question – through this interaction and my symptoms do you believe I contracted HSV2?
What you describe here is a no-risk experience for acquiring HSV 2. I have zero worries that whatever symptoms you have, are not related to an HSV 2 infection that you got at this encounter – not one worry
Terri
