Im a healthy male who met a new potential partner who has had HSV-2 for a decade and she takes antivirals.
What is the risk of me contracting it involved in:
1. Touching her vagina or inserting my fingers in her vagina but not touching my mouth or genitals.
2. Using toys on/in her? And only touching the toy with my hands.
3. Going down on her (performing oral sex)
4. Having intercourse protected Vs unprotected.
5. Tasting her off my fingers after they have been in her.

No risk if your fingers are intact.
2. Using toys on/in her? And only touching the toy with my hands.
No risk
3. Going down on her (performing oral sex)
Minimal risk but not zero
4. Having intercourse protected Vs unprotected.
Condoms reduce transmission of HSV 2 from women to men by 65%
5. Tasting her off my fingers after they have been in her.
Very low risk, if any
Terri
