Hi Terri I received unprotected oral sex only my first sexual experience about a few days later I felt a slight burn at the tip of my urethra and it didn’t hurt when I pee just kinda slightly felt like a burn and I noticed the head of my penis has tiny little bumps that’s really only noticeable with a erection not Fordyce spots but like little bumps almost like a texture but I felt like they have been there all my life but I am just convincing myself it’s a std so I finally take a std test all was negative hsv1 wad negative but hsv2 was 2.34 and the supplemental test was positive it was a labcorp igg but I’ve read alot of forums on here so I know it thoughts on the test as of now I don’t really ever feel burning or any unusual bumps besides the ones I mentioned earlier they have never went away wich makes me belive that’s how it’s always been I don’t feel different really after my diagnosis I just more wanted to ask you should I get a western blot test based on my info. The time between me encounter and the test was a little over a month I just feel so split I’ve already accepted that I have hsv2 and now I might not have it I just don’t wanna go through getting my hopes up just to find out I still have it thank you for your time and service terri it’s helped a lot!
Are you saying that you’ve never had intercourse? If that is true, you 100% need the western blot. I now have 118 people who have positive IgG tests, positive supplemental from LabCorp and negative western blot.
Terri
Only oral sex nothing else thank you for responding and sorry about my mess of a paragraph this situation has got me down
You are the ideal candidate for a western blot to clarify the situation. As you may have guessed if you have read the questions on this forum, the LabCorp IgG and supplemental tests give many false positives. Please get the western blood to clarify your experience. I would bet a lot of money that you do not have HSV two
