Hoping you can help. I have had oral HSV 1 since I was a kid. I usually get fever blisters on the same area of my mouth however I should note that I’ve gotten the occasional one on my cheek or above my mouth (usually due to sun exposure) in July I was given a blood test and tested positive for HSV 1 and negative for HSV 2. In early August I had unprotected sex with person A one time who had also just been tested with no sexual partners since, although this was based off his word I did not see the results.
On October 23rd I had vaginal sex and performed oral sex on person B. Oral sex was unprotected vaginal sex was mostly protected except for a brief maybe 1-2 minutes where he entered me from behind while I was laying on my side that was unprotected
On October 26th I got a fever blister on my lip, treated it with valtrex. 10 days later (11/5) the scab from the sore was almost completely healed to the point it barely visible and the blisters had been scabbed over completely without any fluid for 7 days. That night I had unprotected oral arc performed on me by person B and protected vaginal sex. The next day the scab was completely gone although my lip tissue was was tender from a scab being there.
On 11/14 I had unprotected oral sex performed on me by Person C. On 11/20 I was shaving and noticed light bleeding in two areas at the very top of my vulva where the hair line meets it. Since I am prone to infected hairs I assumed it was that. That night and the following two nights I had protected vaginal sex only and no unprotected genital rubbing with Person C. I noticed some very mild discomfort and itching where I first noticed the bleeding 2 days prior and a scab formed. I assumed the scabs were from shaving infected hairs and itching bc the fell right in the crease where wetness occurs. It’s 2 days later and a I haven’t let the scabs heal bc I’ve been looking at them trying to figure out if it could be Herpes. will round off detail in follow up question

My concern is that on closer inspection the One site looks more like an open sore than I would imagine a shaved infected hair to be. That said the weekend of having sex could have definitely irritated it. There also appears to be a glistening to it, but like I said it falls just at the line where the wetness begins. I never saw any blisters or had any tingling and didn’t see any bleeding or any indication that something was wrong until I shaved. So here are my questions: could I have gotten HSV 1 from the old almost gone scab 10 days after I got a cold sore that I had treated with Valtrex by kissing person B and then having them perform Oral sex on me? Could I have gotten HDV 1 or 2 from person B by the few minutes of unprotected sex even though their genitals did not touch the area that is now of concern? Could I have gotten HSV 1 or 2 from person C from unprotected Oral although I have not seen any sign of outbreak on his mouth at all since it happened 11/ 14? If person A was lying and wasn’t clean could I have contracted something from him and it didn’t show up until 3.5 months later? Is there a chance that I have something else? I currently have mirena if thatd at all relevant. I am going to go to the doctor tomorrow, should I still have it swabbed since although it scabbed it has since reopened?
Thank you very much

Yes, you should have the area swab tested – you might have already gone to the doctor.
So you would be extremely unlikely to get HSV 1 genitally since you have had it since you were a kid orally. However, your description of the genital sore is very concerning. I certainly hope you had it swab tested today. but if it is pretty well healed, it might be too late for an accurate swab test. It’s unclear to me who might have given this to me if it is herpes, but if the swab test is negative, you will need an IgG antibody test in about 12 weeks. You can do it sooner but if negative, you cannot count on it.Terri
