Hi Terry,
Back in 2019 I tested positive for HSV 2 with a igg of 4.56. I took another test because I was curious as to what the igg was at. I got the results back yesterday and now the igg is 8.15. Why did it increase like that? What does these numbers represent? Should I get a Western Blot test. I’m so depressed and I’m starting to feel like my life will never be the same
Terri,
Also another question, what are the chances of me passing it to my partner during intercourse? I also do ozone therapy weekly are there any chances that my numbers will decrease?
There is no evidence that ozone therapy will do anything for herpes – I sincerely hope you will not waste your money on this.
The change in your IgG index values may mean nothing or the first test may be lower because it was a newer infection than the second test. Have you had symptoms of HSV 2?
Terri
