I’ve recently got tested for hsv type 1 and 2,
(PCC test).My result are 1.22 for hsv type 1 and .12 for type 2. I have never had any symptoms of oral herpes nor genitalia herpes ever. This is my first time testing. What should i do now? Should i wait and get tested again? Is this could a false positive? Have i been expose before? … -
This could be an accurate positive result or a false positive. The number is so low it isn’t possible to know what is real here. If you really want to know about your HSV 1 status, you could get the herpes western blot test. Your HSV 2 is negative. The timing of the blot, should you decide to do it, is 12 weeks after any sexual encounter.
