Possible exposure 5 months ago to hsv1.I recently took a igg test at quest diagnostics and received a positive range of 2.3. I took another one 10 days later at labcorp and my range was 1.7. I never had any outbreaks and wanted to know that if my score keeps going down is that a clear indication of a false positive

It is not a clear indication that you are not infected – not at all. You need a western blot if you want to know if you have HSV 1 or not. It is normal for IgG values to vary and there is nothing to be made out of a small change in this value

Hey! So after the test i went back to labcorp 20 days later and my igg level was 1.85. I decided to try anylabtest now and my igg level was 0.3 after 6 months of possible exposure.. should i trust this or look further into it?

The IgG test for HSV 1 is notoriously poor. I would say based on these test results so far that we have no idea if you have HSV 1 or not. The western blot will tell you. The IgG test misses 30% of HSV 1 infections compared to the blot.
