      Hello Terri
      Hope you’re well.

My question is about HSV1 and spitting. I accidentally spit while I was talking with my friend. It was a small amount that might have gotten on their arm or clothing. Is there any risk in this situation?

I’ve never had any sores or anything HSV related on my mouth or face, but since I am unsure if I do have it on my face or not I thought I would check with you. Too note I have HSV1 in my anus.

      I appreciate your help.
      Thank you

These questions you ask regarding saliva – you are not a risk to others!

        Hi Terri,

It’s been a week a created a post and never got a response. A lot of other people did except me and I paid for my subscription. I’m in limbo at this point.

        Hello Terri

Thank you for your reply. I realized how silly those questions are now. I have finally realized there is nothing to worry about concerning my mouth. I really do appreciate your help with my other questions, sorry if I was a little to much with these saliva questions.

        Thanks again

It’s OK, but I’m glad you now realize that there is no worry about contagiousness from your mouth.
