Hello Terri,
This happened quite a while ago (5 years ago)and since I am bit of a hypochondriac I freak out to this. I had sex at 22 (I’m a man) with a 18 year old girl in college, somewhere in between the condom broke from her finger nail and we both didn’t notice until after(also we only had vaginal sex). After that we both got tested for the general STD panel , all negative. During this period I had no symptoms at all, I was very inspective of my private parts and saw no changes and never felt sick. Then I graduated college and got a job but then after 5 years I started worrying about herpes because of being a general hypochondriac. I contacted the girl 5 years later and she took the hsv2 igg test two times all negative at 4 months and 7 months after our sexual encounter , I took it aswell during this 5 year period after, I tested negative. She sent me that she is positive for hsv1 but has had no genital symptoms and there some pictures of her with cold sores on her lip that I remember . I have yet to test for hsv1 but my mom, sister and dad all have cold sores and I’m kinda sure I had one at one point so I don’t even know if I should test for it. I was wondering pretty much the risk of transmission genitally for my sexual encounter for hsv1?
Actually the only symptom I have had is from what I can remember is I took adderall two weeks after and I felt my whole body tingle including my penis and I had erectile distinction. That’s pretty much it. I get tingles all over my body including my lips, face, legs, feet, and penis but I think that might be nerves. Do you agree that this might be all because of just nervous behavior? I asked the girl if she has ever had a cold sore but that didn’t end well because I think the constant sti questions has led her to stop talking to me.
I think we’ve talked now. Nothing here suggests herpes at all to me.
Terri
