Hi,
I don’t know if you remember me when I mentioned my IGG being 11.5 on the HSV2 test and i retested twice after that & came out negative. My spouse is and has been negative when we got her tested. Had my doctor order a western blot and results came back as negative for us both. Quest diagnostics still believe i have HSV2 and won’t own up to what ever happen in the lab.
well, they may never. Were your negative tests done at Quest as well? When you had the 11.5, was an inhibition assay done on the sample?
Terri
Yes a inhibition was done.
And was it positive? I would be very interested in sharing your results on the blot with Quest. I wonder how I can get this from you or if you would be willing to share this with me?
