This was my first sexual experience since not being in a relationship (last relationship was a monogamous relationship lasting 12 years – Her and I were virgins before our relationship).
This encounter I am terrified of happened 5 days ago. This girl and I have messed around in the past a couple of time i.e. kissing and finger play but nothing more. In this instance I am referring to we kissed for a while until I became erect and put a condom on. When I went to have sex with her, I wasn’t hard anymore – nerves as this was the first woman I had slept with since my gf. So I took the condom off and she asked if she could perform oral sex on me to get me hard. I agreed so she did for about 2 minutes. I then grabbed the condom and put it back on. There was air at the end because I had to just put it back on the way it was. I then messed with it until the air was out. We proceeded to have sex for about ten to fifteen minutes. As I was about to ejaculate I pulled out and noticed it was all caught in the condom (I was making sure there were no holes due to the way I put it back on).
The next day I felt a weird sensation in my urethra. It felt as if someone was pinching it ever so slightly. As if it had a slight “kink” in it. I felt this for two days, and then on day 3 I felt pretty intense off-and-on itching on the head and shaft of my penis, as well as on the scrotum and anus. I also noticed on day 4 some red blotches/dots on the head of my penis which are still present. They are very faint (as if they are beneath the surface) and have looked the same for about 3 days now. (https://www.flickr.com/photos/128949633@N02/15440520948/). I also notice on the underside of my penis is a scab looking area with white spots all over it that showed up on day 3 or 4. This picture is kind of hard to see, but its: (https://www.flickr.com/photos/128949633@N02/15602948106/)
Other than this, my temperature has been at about a degree less than “normal.” I have itching on both eyes (mostly the right eye), and my eyes feel slightly crusty although there is no visible dried mucus or anything unusual. I did feel back pain during day 2 and 3, but that has subsided and back pain is something that has always came and gone for me so it may be a coincidence. I felt run down and fatigued on days 1 and 2 after exposure but feel pretty energetic now on day 5.
I am obviously freaked out as this diagnosis, if positive will be devastating news to me. I realize I must wait 14 weeks or so for the test results to be accurate so I came on here to get the opinion of an expert. This sounds likes a typical case of herpes huh? I have never experienced anything like this in my life and it is right after I had sexual contact with my second partner in my life.

This looks nothing whatsoever like herpes to me nor does your description sound anything like herpes to me. The pictures don’t look like herpes either. Nothing in your mouth or on your penis or around you anus (is that your anus?) looks anything like herpes to me. Itching in your eyes has nothing to do with herpes nor does back pain. And it sounds like you basically used condoms throughout the sexual encounter with the exception of the oral sex, is that right? Have you ever in your life had a cold sore on your lip? If yes, then you are extremely unlikely to get genital herpes from receiving oral sex either.
I believe that you are scared because this is your first sexual encounter after a long relationship with just one person and it is normal to be concerned in that situation. But don’t get too carried away here. I think you did things correctly with this encounter.
You are watching things very carefully and if you start to see water blisters in the genital area or something like that, then you can get worried. And they won’t be under the surface of the skin or difficult to see, they will be pretty clear. And if that happens, then you need to see a health care provider right away and have them swab tested. But I don’t believe that you need to be seen at this point for the symptoms that you have described to me.
Does that help?

I now have itching all over. I have itching on my eyes, my groin, my anus, my head, my ears and my neck. As well as a weird tingling pain in my jaw line. Reading online shows a correlation to herpes. Is this beginning to sound more like herpes now?

NO! I think you are probably reading that sometimes herpes lesions itch, and they do, sometimes, but itching all over is NOT a symptom of genital herpes.

yes this helps. Thank you. I just can’t seem to figure out what these symptoms could have been caused by. I am still itching as we speak. Also the red dots on the glans. I guess I may have jumped to conclusion a little too soon after reading about herpes on the internet, but do you think these symptoms relate to my sexual encounter? Or just a coincidence? Also I do not think I have ever had a cold sore before. But my sister gets them and has since she was a little girl so I am guessing I could get them as well, or carry the virus.
I guess my greatest fear is that these symptoms I am having could be indicative of STD’s on their way. By your response, I believe this worry is without good reason and has been created by the fear you described after having a new sexual encounter.
Also is there any way you can remove my photos from this discussion? I feel that there are some definite identifying features in these photos and would greatly appreciate you removing them for the sake of my anonymity.
Thank you again for everything!
