I am a little bit worried, I have recently had dry skin on my penis, I have noticed a bump on the shaft of my penis. Below is a link of a picture of what i have concerns about. http://gyazo.com/91c1e8206f447e79fbbb8b4b8ae19338 I just want to be sure that im not infected with the herpes virus as I have not been sexually active for over a year. Please give me your opinion. Thanks – Dylan
It is so hard to know anything for certain from a picture. To me, this looks like a little blister with pus in it, would you describe it that way? How long has it been there? Have you had anyone check it out in person? Have you ever had anything like this before? Have you ever had an antibody test for herpes in the past? Is it tender? Have you ever had a cold sore on your lip in the past?
If you were my patient, I would, depending upon what it looked like up close and the answers to the questions I have posed to you, we would likely swab test it for herpes, yes.

I had a test a while back for herpes, They came back negative, I have no been sexually active since then, I had a yeast infection in the past. I was thinking it could be the same thing again but I really wasnt 100% certain, It doesnt hurt or anything.
It just seems like a blister to me, Im not 100% certain, I noticed it a few days ago, I haven’t gone to a clinic yet, I have had irritation before due to a yeast infection but I had my concerns checked out before and I was told it was only a yeast infection, I am hoping that its just a re occurance, It isnt tender at all or anything Its just there. I have never had a cold sore ever. Sometimes the head /shaft of my penis looks like its dry / cracked , Im not sure if thats just friction from mastubating or what. I guess I will just have to go see a doctor in person.
