Hi. I believe I have been exposed to HSV 2 by a man who was not truthful about his status and who was sleeping with other women, while with me and I was also unaware of that.
I received an IGG test result of 3.11 on Jan 30th,
I have written to and received the Western Blot test kit , from UW, but live in Southern California and there is not a AnyLabTestNow in my town. You indicate that there are other labs that will do it. Can you send me that list? Most important I need to know where I can get the test administered before Feb 26th, thanks, How does the 3.11 to the scale? Is it 1.1- 3.5 or 1.1 to 3.0 that is low positive? Is the scale 1-10?

3.11 is a low positive. You need a provider to order the test for you and we can do that for you and there are several sites we use in SoCal to draw your blood. It needs to be shipped to UW to actually do the test – these labs don’t do the test but only draw the blood and prepare it for shipment. If you want my help with this, follow the link on the website to set up an evisit.

3.11 is on the high side of low positive but could well represent a false positive, yes.
