Hi Terri-
Thank you for the previous 2 responses they were very helpful
My last questions are:
1) I had a 1.25 igg and a positive supplemental positive through labcorp. You previous told me that I would have about a 95% chance of false positive with that igg. Is that percentage less if the supplemental is also positive? In other words, what pecentage decrease would you attribute to the labcorp supplemental if it is positive?
2) To clarify one of my previous questions, you had mentioned you had close to 60 patients with low igg readings and positive supplementals that ultimately tested negative on the WB. I was wondering roughly what percentage of your patients total with low igg and positive supplementals ultimately test negative for the WB? For instance is it 60/100 with low igg and positive supplementals or 60/500?
3) I have read that the Biokit is over 90% accurate. My understanding that is the confirmatory test that Labcorp is using. If that is true, what do you account for such a high false positive reading for the Biokit and is this a recent development or has it always been the case?
Thanks so much for all your help Terri. I have shipped my sample to U of W per your instructions.
