Result: November 11th: blood and urine test: PCR DNA blood test, not swab.
HSV1- not detected
HSV2- not detectedNovember 23rd Urgent care clinic
Results: November 25th Blood test and urine
HSV1 – positive >8.0
HSV2- Negative <0.2 IGG
Urine – all negativeDecember 7th Urologist
Results:Dec 8th. Blood and urine
HSV1 positive >58.00
HSV2 Negative <0.90 IGGTo note: my right arm been having muscle twitching, and jumping, little sore… JMH gave me antiviral pills, only took them for 1 week back in October and never took them since. This whole thing is a journey for the past few weeks I’ve been getting negative results, which I’m thankful for.
Questions.
1. It’s been about 9 weeks, I only got 1 positive result for hsv2,done with PCR DNA BLOOD TEST. all the other were all IGG negative. Should I stop testing and live normal? Is my results conclusive with 9 weeks?2. Should I be really worried about my right arm a little sore, and muscle twitching?
3. I always had HSV1 the urologist said if I would have gotten hsv2, it would have shown up by now. I used a condom while I got oral.
4. Could the gonorrhea make all this happen?
5. I have no out break, no lesion , nothing down in my penis. I feel normal. Should I move on?
I’m not interested in the western blot..
Please help, was the Pcr dna blood test an error? Was the burning from Gonorrhea? -

Should I be confident enough with all the negative I have gotten?

On October 14 I had sex with a tinder date, I used a condom. On October 15, 16, 17, and 18 I was feeling a very bad burning sensation in my penis, it was very irritating i saw mucous like substance coming out when i peed. On October 17, I went to the clinic, 3 days later, I got my results; everything was negative, it was too early, I realized. However, on October 21st, I still wasn’t feeling right, I got tested again at the emergency room for a urinalysis and a std panel blood test, the results came in on October 25th they said the urine was clean, but my blood test came back positive for HSV2, and negative for hsv1. However, I had hsv1 when I was a teenager. Also to mention, the emergency room did a PCR DNA blood test, not a swab test. I waited, and went to a different clinic on October 26th, got another blood and urine test, my result came back on October 28th for that clinic; I tested positive for Gonorrhea, positive for hsv1, and negative for hsv2. So then I waited. On November 4th, I went to mount sinai NY E.R, got another blood test and urine test. On November 7th I got my results from mount sinai, gonorrhea was negative after taking doxycycline, and HSV2 was at <0.91, they explained to me that it was a negative. So I moved on. However; on November 6th, I went back too the first hospital that said I was hsv2 positive, did another test, and got my results back on November 11th saying my hsv1 and hsv2 was negative. However, like I said had hsv1 when I was a teenager. They did a pcr dna blood test, not swab. Fast forward, on November 23rd I went back to do another test at an urgent care facility, got my results back on November 25th saying I’m negative for hsv2 at <0.2, and tested positive for hsv1. On December 7th I went to the urologist and got a blood test done again, on December 8th my results were in I was positive for hsv1 and negative for hsv2 at <0.90. All this has been about 9 weeks.

Going on week 9. Only thing really bothering me is the twitching on my right arm, nothing else. I went from weight 167 to 150 because of stress, depression, worrying, anxiety, and crying constantly. I’ve always had hsv1, but haven’t had a cold sore in 5 years. I’m scared of HSV2.. the woman put a condom on and gave me oral for about 30 seconds. Please help me understand this.
1. What is prodrom?..so sorry! I mean twitching on my left arm only* on and off, after about 1 month.
2. If u have hsv1 already.. how long would it take for someone to show hsv2?
3. I feel really fine, but my head is going crazy.. with the left arm twitching? Would I be OK?

You said PCR dna blood test isn’t the way to go. Could it have been an error?.. and it was really the gonorrhea that maybe crossed?

First, let me say I’m so sorry for missing this post.
This is all very confusing. Herpes would not cause muscle twitching in your arm
The wrong test was done and it certainly could be a false positive
Have you taken antiviral medication? That could impact the antibody testing.
You probably need a herpes western blot for clarification here – this is all very confusing to me.
I am refunding your moneyTerri
