Just been diagnosis with hsv 2

Hello I been In a 9 year relationship with my exboyfriend we broke up 2 months ago.And I had a full std check up. Every thing came back negative expect hsv2 (1.1)low postive and hsv1 8.0 and he tested negative for hsv2 but high positive for hsv1 I never had any symptoms or out breaks no lesions didnt know I had it if doctor wouldnt test have he never had any outbreaks I told him about my results and of course he thought I cheated around and he got veebally abusive and it just got ugly.. But know I feel like my life is over and cant get into a healthy non toxic relationahip in the future because of this disease.Is there any chance that this could be a false postive because. My value is so low. Please help. Iam scared and nervouse and depressed over this I order the western blot test today which is 3/29/18. And I found out that I was postive on 3/26/18. How.come his didn’t come back postive and we been togather for 9years.oh and the test was used was IgG not to mentioned never had a cold sore either. What ahould I do or how to go about this approach.

I am very confused – you ordered the western blot on 3-29 and found out you were positive on 3-26? You mean by IgG? You have a very low positive and it is very likely a false positive. You should not do the western blot until 12 weeks have passed since your last sexual encounter with your boyfriend.

Iam sorry if it was confusing. I found out that I tested postive this monday. I was reading on line about the western. Blot test and I order it today should be arriving next week some time but last time I had sex with my ex boyfriend was jan 15 2018. He tested negitive for it..I was scrolling through the internet and seen your website..

Hello how do I get a video confernce with you. So you can be the ordering physician because my Doc wont do it I went to my obgyn and medical doc amd ask them because.they are not fimilar with it and said its not probley reliable stick with my results from the Igg test. I really need to no if Iam really postive or not driving me crazy to no.. I already order the test should be to my house soon. Since 1.1 you said is low.postive

I’m so sad that your doctor’s don’t know now about the CDC recommendation to obtain confirmatory testing for HSV. But don’t worry, we’ll get a clear answer for you with the blot. I do hope that you will share the CDC information with your doctors so they can become better informed. Just go to the home page of westoverheights.com and click on the box that says video conference.
