Hi Terri!
I made out with a girl recently. As we were beginning to progress to more, she stopped me and told me she had genital Herpes. So that was it.
That is all we did. Made out for about 5 min. The next day I woke up and my penis has been feeling a weird sensation. I’ve had the same symptoms for the last 4 days. Mild pain when I pee, groin area feels dry and irritated. I have been constantly inspecting my penis and groin area and haven’t found any lesions. Nothing like the pictures at least. Everything looks normal but it doesn’t feel normal.
I’m curious if it’s possible to be infected from an encounter like this? I have no symptoms in the mouth. No flu like symptoms either.
Regards,
I also wanted to give you some information on timing. We made out Saturday night. The pain in the penis started Sunday and has continued. I still have it (Wednesday). No lesions present.
Thank you
Your genitals had zero exposure to herpes and any sensations that you may be feeling have nothing to do with your contact with her, other than being super observant of any symptoms you may have. In order to get genital herpes you have to have contact with here genitals which you did not. Now I have no idea about your past sexual history and STI testing so I can’t say that you don’t have herpes but I can tell you that the experience you had puts you at zero risk of acquiring genital herpes.
