Hi, so I have HSV 1. So I was performing intercourse with my partner. I wore a condom. We never kissed mouth to mouth. I never performed oral on my partner. Only when we’ve been intimate I sometimes kiss them on the neck, one time I licked their neck, and that’s it. When we had intercourse I couldn’t tell if I had an outbreak. Can my partner still get HSV 1 from being kissed and licked on the neck only?
Nope, not from being licked on the neck but transmission from kissing is possible Are we sure she is uninfected with HSV 1?

No I’m not sure. We just had protected sex and I had a pimple/sore came on a about 4 or 5 days ago. It swelled down so I thought we were in the clear. I noticed some red bumps clustered around my top lip and am paranoid that I’m having a outbreak. It’s really faint and it’s really small bumps so I can’t tell if those clusters are HSV1 or not but I think it is. Did I accidentally had sex with my partner during my outbreak? Does having a cluster of bumps mean it’s herpes? Sometimes when I use Tweezers to pluck out of facial hair it leaves red bumps but that’s usually ingrown hairs. Some of the micro bumps form on the edge of my lip outside of the facial hair area but it’s really small that I have to squint to see if it’s herpes or not.
Herpes would not present with micro bumps. Herpes lesions are obvious. Most everyone has a little bumps around the top of their lip. These are called Fordyce spots. You could look that up on the Internet and see if that is what you are experiencing. The symptoms that you describe are way too subtle and small for me to think that they are due to herpes simplex virus.
