Got tested 6th months ago
Positive 7.37 IGG
Whole months of December
Negative IGG
Negative IGG
Negative IGG
What do you make of this?
Well, a few things could be going on here. The first IgG test could reflect confusion with someone else’s sample. Have you taken antiviral medicine since the first test? have you had symptoms? Why did you do the test at all?

Thank you for answering! No symptoms since I first thought I was having my internal outbreak 7 months ago. No antivirals ever taken. My girl friend at the time tested .91 But she never should symptoms of any kind. She also has hsv1 since a child. Got my first test at city MD and my 3 tests 6 months later beacuse my PCP wanted to diagnose me herself. I was shocked at the results thats why I wanted to retest every 2 weeks. She said the same thing if I haven’t had symptoms then I’m negative. Labcorp is the lab she uses. Do labs swap blood samples often? And for me to test that high of a number 1-2 weeks after assumed exposer?
We certainly hope that labs don’t get samples mixed up very often! But here, I can’t think what else is going on here. The tests were all IgG tests at the exact same lab?
