Not sure if HSV?

Hi Terri, thank you so much for having this site! I want to ask about my boyfriend. I don’t know his HSV status. I have oral HSV1 and take daily antivirals for the past 2 years. I had a cold sore 5 weeks ago,first time in over 2 years,I think because I missed my antivirals for a few days and had a bad cough. On the first day of my oral outbreak, I started back on daily antivirals. We waited two weeks till new closed skin was there where the cold sore was. Then at day 15 after the outbreak I gave him oral sex. 2 days later he said he had some rough skin on his penis. He said it was because he didnt shower for 2 days after we had anal sex. At the 4 day mark after he said he had rough skin, he let me look at his penis. I saw no blisters but discolored skin. He said it didn’t hurt. He was putting neosporin on it. I have seen it again, now 21 days later, no blisters or healing sores but like purplish/reddish discolored skin. At day 22, he said his testicles were bright red and itchy. He let me look briefly and I just saw very bright red skin. He won’t let me look again but he said his testicles are still red and itchy and worse after a shower.

1. Do you think this is a primary HSV1 outbreak from me?
2. Would someone have a primary outbreak with no blisters?
3. Would someone have a primary outbreak on the penis for 3 weeks and then have it move onto the testicles?
4. How common is HSV1 on testicles?
5. He doesn’t want to let me look and is upset I am so scared and don’t know what this is. What do you think might be happening?

Hey seriously that. If he was insertive with anal sex with you and did not wash, I would not be at all surprised if he gets some sort of reaction on his penis from that experience.
2. Would someone have a primary outbreak with no blisters? Well that possible I doubt it
3. Would someone have a primary outbreak on the penis for 3 weeks and then have it move onto the testicles? No I don’t that’s what’s going on
4. How common is HSV1 on testicles? Uncommon
5. He doesn’t want to let me look and is upset I am so scared and don’t know what this is. What do you think might be happening?

I think he symptoms on his penis from anal sex and not washing. This does not sound like herpes to me.
