My initial hsv2 outbreak was a base of penis. Do recurrent outbreaks generally happen in same location?
I’ve had an irritated penis tip/urethra tip for almost 2 weeks now but no visible sores. What are the chances this is an outbreak with no sores in a different area?

About 50% of the time people get recurrences at the original outbreak site and the other half get outbreaks in various locations. The only way to know if something is truly an outbreak is to have it swab tested.
