July 29: igg 5.27 positive at quest diagnostics

UW says I’m negative based on persistent wb.i am struggling to understand why my igg is different at quest and at anylabtestnow.please help me make sense of these results?
You clearly have a protein in your blood that is artificially tripping the herpes antibody test. Are you native to the US? I have seen more high false positives in people who are not born in the US than those who are – I have no idea why that is, but it just is. Anylabtestnow and Quest may use different brands of herpes test kits. That would be the most likely explanation. But I would agree with UW that you are almost certainly not infected with HSV 2.
